TOWNS

Adelaide-based duo, TOWNS have released their new single “Stardust”, premiering on Triple J Good Nights just this week.

The up-and-coming alternative rock band have displayed exceeding success after releasing their single “Safe To Stay” with over 280,000 streams on Spotify. Whilst embarking on three national tours including runs with Dear Seattle, Bugs, and Eat Your Heart Out. They were also titled Unearthed Feature Artist in 2019.

“Stardust” shines with profound messages of mental health, self-reflection and the journey of discovering yourself. Beginning with a light and up-beat tone which slowly intensifies to the passionate essence of the track. Lead vocalist and guitarist Aston Valladares explains the inspiration of the song:

“The whole theme behind the lyrics is self-recovery and looks back on a period of time when I wasn’t sure if I was myself, or someone else, and I couldn’t find where the true version of myself had gone. I believe I’ve recovered my true self now – it’s nice to be on the other side and have this song as a reminder and proof that things do get better.”

“Stardust” is out now. Check out TOWNS’ Facebook HERE
