New Neon Gold signing Your Smith is about to hit Australian shores for the first time, following the release of the Japanese Wallpaper remix of this track, “Bad Habit”, our Track of the Day.
Minneapolis native Your Smith a.k.a. Caroline Smith relocated to Los Angeles in 2016, where inspired by the cherished songwriters of her youth, she began writing songs to channel and feed her nostalgia for that time. She has quickly made a name for herself, thanks to her single, “The Spot” and then her 2018 debut EP Bad Habit. “Bad Habit” is a bright, bold and beautiful track, both in its remixed and original form, that really showcases Your Smith’s sumptuous vocals.
Your Smith has also been making a bit of a name for herself live, having recently wrapped American tour dates with Baum, Violent Femmes, as well as Rhye, who she’ll be linking up with on their upcoming Australian tour dates.
