Having released her stunning debut album, In Feelings, in 2020, Lisa Caruso has released her follow-up single, “It Doesn’t Feel Like Christmas”. This is a tune written for those of us who might be feeling just a tad, or a lot, disaffected by the onset of Christmas. Let’s face it, for many of us, 2021 hasn’t been the best of times. And for some, quite frankly it has been a disaster.
So, Lisa has ticked off her goal of writing a Christmas song, by penning one for the disaffected and downhearted. But fear not, you can give this one a spin and be uplifted. Whilst there can be the expectation that this time of year is saccharine and rose-coloured, sometimes it just isn’t so. And that’s truly ok. “It Doesn’t Feel Like Christmas” celebrates this. Add it to your Christmas playlist. Lisa specialises in emotive rock, and this is another fine example of what she does so well.
