Aussie heavyweight post-punk rock legends Trophy Eyes have just announced a massive regional tour following the successful release of their incredible latest album, Suicide and Sunshine. With indie rockers Dear Seattle along for the ride, this is shaping up to be a tour not to be missed!
Trophy Eyes are renowned for their candid, introspective lyricism and storytelling, accompanied by insane amounts of energy and fun melodies. Their latest album Suicide and Sunshine showcases this perfectly, highlighted by the standout singles “Blue Eyed Boy” and “What Hurts The Most”. Suicide and Sunshine marks the band’s third consecutive Top 10 ARIA Album, accompanied by a sold out capital cities tour. You can read our five star review of the album HERE.
Beloved Aussie rockers Dear Seattle have dropped their latest single “Nothing’s Stopping Me Now”, followed by four sold out shows across the country. Recently, their cover of “The Special Two” by Missy Higgins was in the top 30 in Triple J’s Hottest 100 Like A Version.
Kicking off in Cairns on Oct 11, the tour will consist of thirteen shows (which I am certain will sell out), coming to an end in the band’s hometown of Newcastle on Nov 11, as part of the This That Festival.
