Gaz and Guy are back for one last run. For the first time in two years, the Ballarat duo lovingly known to audiences around the country as Yacht Club DJs re-emerged for a cheeky show for SOSUEME’s 9th Birthday in Sydney and then another little gig in Byron Bay last month and at the beginning of September.
So much was the great and overwhelming response on their social media and at the shows themselves, the duo have announced an extended tour for the end of 2016 and into the beginning of 2017 – starting with a slot at Brisbane’s Valley Fiesta next month, before hitting clubs around the country through December and January.
“All we ever intended to do was try on the old shoes to see if they still fit,” Gaz wrote in a Facebook post today. “But we got such a great response (slash demands, death threats, offers of love, money and everything else you can imagine) that we decided why not, do a tour in summer and come see all you happy people one more time.”
