Aspera Mobile announces the launch of the Nitro 2 smartphone

Australia’s Aspera Mobile has announced that its newest smartphone, the Nitro 2, is now available for purchase. In a bid to combat the rising cost of living, Aspera Mobile’s follow-up to the Nitro smartphone aims to pack in as many premium features as it can, for the low price of A$179.

The Nitro 2 will be available in a new Pearl colour and include some impressive features like dual sim compatibility, added memory, a 5000mAh battery and 13MP rear and 8MP front cameras.

It will also feature a 6.6-inch HD display, facial recognition and a fingerprint sensor for added security, along with NFC compatibility for contactless payments, an increasingly handy feature that is certainly growing in popularity.

Aspera Mobile MD Allan Roberston commented on the announcement, stating, “With our new Nitro 2 we focused in particular on providing even better value for money features whilst significantly raising the features, look and feel. Nitro 2 costs just $179 which, for this kind of phone, is an amazing price for budget conscious consumers who want maximum functionality without the hefty price tag that comes with so many other brands.”

The A$179 Nitro 2 is available now from Big W, which has exclusively launched the Pearl model. Mobileciti, Australia Post and several other retailers will also launch shortly. For more information on the Nitro 2, you can head to Aspera Mobile’s official website.
