Oppo is bringing the new Reno4 series to Australia this month

Continuing their strong 2020 run thus far, Oppo will bring the new Reno4 series to Australia in October, sporting two 5G phones for the mid-tier market with a feature-heavy set that includes advanced low-light photography and videography modes, fast charging and the kind of display you’d typically expect from more expensive phones.

The Reno4 5G and Reno4 Z 5G are now available for pre-order, with both phones arriving to Australian retailers on 12th October.

Oppo has already impressed at all price points this year, from the top-tier Find X2 Pro to the value-driven A52, so we’ve got some pretty high hopes for these two models, which comes with an impressive looking spec sheet and a number of ambitious claims.

The Reno4 5G, which will be the more expensive of the two at A$799, introduces Ultra Night Video, a 48MP tri-camera setup, and two holepunch selfie lenses, led by a 32MP and bolstered by a 2MP. 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 fast charge, which does wonders in the Find X2 Pro, has also been included, along with a 6.4″ AMOLED FHD+ display.

Dropping down to a price point of A$599, the Reno Z 5G is still sounding like a bang-for-buck situation, with a 120Hz LCD display, 48MP Ultra Wide Angle-led quadcamera setup, 16MP and 2MP hold-punch selfie lenses, and 18W fast-charge.

Regardless of which one you go for, expect 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage, as well as a hefty 4,000mAh battery and ColorOS 7.2 on Android Q.
