Cooking meals has never been easier with the VQ Laura Ashley 6.5L Slow Cooker

Sometimes, the last thing I want to do when I come home from a long day of work is cook dinner. So, the easy way out for me has been ordering takeout or eating whatever I can string together in my pantry in about 15 minutes.

But the best part about having the VQ Laura Ashley Slow Cooker, particularly the 6.5L one, is the fact that I don’t always need to follow a complicated recipe to make a delicious dinner, or worry about the amount of time cooking will take away from the other things I need to sort out after coming home from work.

Depending on the recipe, most of the time, all that I’ve needed to do is prep the ingredients and chuck it right in the slow cooker while I do other errands around the house. It’s a massive time-saver and has been a godsend for a household of five people.

Design

The VQ Laura Ashley 6.5L Slow Cooker comes in a beautiful China Rose printed design, matching a lot of the other Laura Ashley appliances in the range and creating a stylish aesthetic in the kitchen.

With three simple heating settings, “Warm”, “Low”, and “High”, the functionality is as simple as it can get, cooking your meals any way that suits you, with a tempered glass lid that keeps all the heat locked in.

You also don’t need to think twice about placing a non-slip mat underneath with the convenient non-slip feet on the slow cooker itself.

A great feature of the slow cooker is the huge 6.5L ceramic pot, which is removable and makes it super easy to wash up after.

Performance

Coming from a household that loves a good meaty dish, there are never any shortages of big hearty meals. But a big difference we’ve noticed over the last few weeks is just how much easier dinner time has been by using the VQ Laura Ashley 6.5L Slow Cooker. We’ve been able to cook an abundance of beef stews, lamb shanks, Japanese curries, and various Asian dishes with absolutely no issues.

Using the slow cooker for these dishes has helped make dinner time in the household stress-free and allows us all to do other productive things around the home while letting the slow cooker do the hard part.

As mentioned before, the functionality is straightforward, which is a big plus for people who may be strapped for time and can’t always sit and read an instruction manual page to page. With the three different settings, there’s been no problems with anything we’ve made, and it seems like there aren’t any wrong ways to use the slow cooker, creating perfect meals no matter what.

Verdict & Value

We’ve used the VQ Laura Ashley 6.5L Slow Cooker every two or three days and have seen no issues or problems of concern over the last month. I can vouch that this appliance is terrific.
