Though it was the late addition of Jay Z onto the Austin City Limits festival line up ahead of the likes of Red Hot Chili Peppers, Chance the Rapper, The Killers and sis-in-law Solange that has had everyone talking, a quick look at the mammoth ACL lineup for 2017 shows off an impressive list of Australian and New Zealander artists amongst the pack.
Taking a look down the line up, we see the like of electronic stars Cut Copy and festival stalwarts Alison Wonderland, Broods and RÜFÜS (Du Sol), as well as up-and-coming exports Tash Sultana, Middle Kids and recent Hottest 100 favourite Amy Shark in what has to be her biggest festival appearance yet. And then there’s the one and only Vance Joy who has graced the ACL stage before (and is pictured doing so in the article’s header).
Of course, ACL is a huge drawcard for many heading to Austin, Texas in October – the two weekender long festival has always pulled together the names to warrant the trip, and this year has been no exception.
Here’s the full lineup:
Austin City Limits takes place at Zilker Park on October 6th-8th and October 13th-15th. Tickets are on sale now via www.aclfestival.com.
