Adelaide Beer and BBQ Festival line-up drops with tickets now on sale

Following on from the success of the previous few years, and in the wake of several other festivals scaling back, postponing or closing, it’s heartening to see the Beer and BBQ Festival back in full swing for 2024.

Headlining the music will be Aussie music legends The Australian Rock Collective, Bad//Dreems & Friends and Peter Combe.

Single Day, Whole Hog Weekend Pass and some new combination ticket types are on sale now through Moshtix, starting at only $26.20 for single-day tickets!

The action happens once again at the Adelaide Showgrounds over the weekend of July 12-14, 2024. The tagline for this year’s festival, in the midst of difficult times for brewers and organisers alike is “Ale You Need is Love“.

Friday night is for 18+ and showcases The Australian Rock Collective, with members from Powderfinger, SpiderbaitYou Am I and Jet. Plenty of other bands are on the line up but don’t forget the punk rock club and a Country Hoedown in a Secret Saloon, live skating & BMX, markets, tattooing and more.

Saturday is split into two sessions, with the afternoon session called SAT’DEE’S BEST (18+) Come in your best formal or crew dress up-wear and win things! There are beer masterclass sessions, Riot City Wrestling, Skating & BMX and the annual Beer Bod Wet T-Shirt Contest! Prizes for best dressed!

The evening session from 6pm to Midnight has music powerhouses BAD//DREEMS & Friends, FLOODLIGHTS, C.O.F.F.I.N., WATTY THOMPSON & HIS TOTAL FIRE BAND plus heaps more including a Country Hoedown in a Secret Saloon and The Last Resort dive bar. Plus beer of course (and BBQ). There are something like 1000 beers (and non-beers) on offer from brewers around the country.

The first round of BBQ announcements includes US low’n’slow by Carolina Smoke and Brisket & Brawn (NSW) and the SA debut of the ‘Pig Ferris Wheel‘ that’ll be hauled down from QLD by Flamin’ Grillas, Señor BBQ (Argentina, by way of Melbourne) and Victoria’s smashed burger sensations Goldieburger.

Sunday is the family (and dog) friendly day known as the Sunday Roast. Unlike the other sessions there’s no stein included (so no broken glass for our four legged friends), but there’s plenty of food and drink on offer. Just a good day to kick back.
