It’s been awhile (probably a few weeks, who’s counting?) since we had such an ungodly food creation enter the Australian market, but three separate entities are determined to make us both wince and salivate over the latest franken-food. And it’s a big one, with 7-Eleven, Golden Gaytime and Krispy Kreme coming together to create two different amalgamated treats.
Obviously these will be available only at 7-Eleven stores across Australia. The first of which is a Krispy Kreme inspired Golden Gaytime ice cream, with an oozy original glaze middle and doughnut flavoured crumbs. Then you’ve got the reverse, a Krispy Kreme Golden Gaytime doughnut with the ice cream’s signature crumb on a hand-dipped chocolate shell with a double-layered filling of Golden Gaytime toffee and vanilla crème. Just typing this clogged my soul.
“We’re thrilled to partner with Krispy Kreme and 7-Eleven, to give our iconic Golden Gaytime an exciting new form”, said Streets Brand Manager, Samantha Jarmul. “Aussies can find everything they love about the crumbly-goodness of our Gaytimes in a delicious new way and truly enjoy the best of both worlds when it comes to snack-time”.
Both creations launched on Friday 27th September and will be available only for a limited time.
