Belles Hot Chicken and Icebergs Dining are duking it out today in Surry Hills for Superbowl 50 (Sydney)

While the Carolina Panthers and Denver Broncos do battle in California’s mammoth Levi’s Stadium, Sydney is pitting two equally weighted food legends against each other in Surry Hills. Taking place at Harpoon Harry, the fight will pit Belles Hot Chicken champ Morgan McGlone against Icebergs Dining Room & Bar legend Monty Koludrovic, and it doesn’t really matter who is crowed champion, because the real winner will be us, the crowd.

From 10:30am today, the culinary kings will be cooking up all kinds of delicious food at Harpoon Harry, including Hot Smoked Wings, Buffalo Ribs, and Custom Carolina Chilli Dogs, served up with Moonshine Shakes and Budweisers. All while a big screen runs the game from 10am, running all day, making Harpoon Harry the best lunch option in the city for Super Bowl 50.

“Issue 2 of the wings and dogs pop up is set to be a fun one… chilli dogs, wings and shakes for breakfast on Monday??!! Feels like the lil ol’ football game, nifty ads and half time show are just an added bonus this time round!!,” said Koludrovic, who sounds like he’s well prepared to take on Belles’ god of chicken.

The pop up will be running all day so even if you miss the game, this is a good chance to head down and eat all the foods. See below for the menu.
