Disney Wonder confirms 2025-26 season in Australia and NZ for its “Disney Magic at Sea” Cruise

Disney Cruise Line – which finally arrived in Australia and New Zealand last October – have just confirmed their ship Disney Wonder is set to return for a third season on our shores in 2025/2026.

Having already completed its first season, and with a second already announced for October 2024 through February 2025, the confirmation that the Disney Wonder would be back from October 2025 to February 2026 aligns with expectations that the October to February has become an annual run for vessel.

The Wonder would be in Vancouver and Hawaii in the other months of the year, forever chasing that Disney Summer.

With planned embarkations from Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland, a number of 3-to-10-night ‘Disney Magic at Sea’ cruises will run from 19 October 2025. On board, guests will enjoy Disney (including Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars) characters, dining, themed parties and Broadway-style live performances.

While many of the itineraries look similar to those available in the past, the 2025-26 season will debut a 10-night Trans-Tasman voyage. This will see the Wonder sail from Auckland to Sydney over the Christmas Break – from 19 December 2025. This trip will also see the cruise ship visit five New Zealand destinations for the first-time: Tauranga, Napier, Wellington, Christchurch, and Fiordland National Park.

Bookings for the 2025/26 season will open for general sale from 28 June AEST, while the 2024/25 season is already on sale.
