Finn McCool’s Irish Bar set to open in Fortitude Valley this month (Brisbane)

Brisbane’s busy nightlife district, Fortitude Valley, has a new Irish pub opening its doors this May. Finn McCool’s Irish Bar will take pride in place in the heart of Brunswick Street Mall and is expected to be the largest Irish pub in town. Being treated to a $3.5 million fit-out, the pub will have a modern look and feel, showcasing its Irish heritage with a contemporary twist.

You will find Guinness and Kilkenny on tap alongside plenty of local and international craft beers with wine, spirits, cocktails and more, on offer. The pub will also have it’s very own trendy laneway bar, The Causeway, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, 7 days a week. The menu will offer a modern take on traditional Irish fare with meat sourced from a local Irish butcher right here in Brisbane.

In true Irish style, you can expect live music from Brisbane’s best artists Thursday – Sunday nights. With owner, Sean Heanen, excited to share his heritage with the locals, there will be no shortage of craic! He’s even imported some staff from his homeland to give the pub that authentic Irish vibe.
