Kangaroo Islands Spirits has released the world’s first gin using 100% locally grown juniper

There isn’t much in the world of craft gin that Aussies haven’t seen before. Yet, Kangaroo Island Spirits has managed to one-up itself by releasing a First Harvest Juniper Gin.

This is the world’s first gin made exclusively from Australian grown, single sourced common juniper harvested on Kangaroo Island.

Taking 100% locally grown juniper, the Kangaroo Island Spirits crew has blended complementary aromatics into the unique gin. Although this bill is primarily about the unique texture and taste these incredibly fresh and potent juniper berries can bring to the gin.

As such, you can expect this limited edition gin to work perfectly in those classic gin cocktails like a G&T and a Tom Collins.

Released in time for Christmas, there are only 1,500 bottles available for this First Harvest Juniper Gin, presented as somewhat of a signature that perfectly represents the climate and land of Kangaroo Island.

The gin is only available online with 700 ml bottles priced at $99.99 each.
