As the end of the year approaches, what better way to celebrate and catch up with friends than to watch your favourite movies and sip on some well deserved cocktails? With private screenings for up to 28 people per session, QT is launching an underground cinema club.
Whether you’re a lover of action, romance, horror or classic films, co-founder of Four Pillars, Matt Jones has handpicked all the classic movies of all time. Situated via a hidden staircase and inspired by the 1930’s era, the underground hangout will feature a speakeasy bar and a variety of movie themed cocktails by Four Pillars Gin.
Inspired by iconic films throughout the ages, the cocktail menu is derived from Four Pillars Creative Director, James Irvine and features the ‘Hollywood Gimlet’ consisting of Four Pillars Rare Dragon. If you’re up for a romance flick, ‘A Couples Seating’ includes spiced negroni gin or if action is more your thing, ‘Planets of the Grapes’ contains their bloody Shiraz gin. For horror lovers, ‘Nightmare on Market Street’ uses their Changing Seasons Gin and ‘The last action cocktail’ comprises of their classic Modern Australian Gin.
Viewers can choose between two experiences, such as their Debut experience which offers Exclusive hire of QT Cinema Club and film, one complimentary Four Pillars cocktail, bottomless gin-salt popcorn and a $25 QT Sydney room credit for each attendee. The Blockbuster experience includes the same setup as the ‘Debut’ but includes all five cocktails from Four Pillars, snacks from QT Sydney’s Parlour Cucina and a Parlour Lane Choc Top.
