Did you know it’s National Martini Day today? 2020 has been a truly shitty year so far, but at least the Friday 19th June is bringing up a good excuse to raid the home bar and celebrate one of the most timeless cocktails ever made. And that includes all the twists that come with it, like the now-classic Espresso Martini which tempers the original’s strength with sweetness and a hit of energy.
Especially in Australia, mastering the Espresso Martini is an essential rite of passage for any at-home bartender. To help, we’ve sourced a simple, straight-forward and absolutely no-fuss recipe for the Espresso Martini from our mates at Fratelli Fresh, where an Espresso Martini is $8 every weekday from 4-6pm, or available for takeaway in 500ml bottles at Fratelli Fresh Grocer.
