With Christmas zooming closer, we’re bound to see some of the country’s most innovative brands come up with themed released. Beloved coffee purveyors Single O have thrown their deliciously caffeinated hat in the ring, as dictated by yearly tradition, by releasing a new version of their beloved Sugarplum blend, this time sticking it to this hell-year as part of their “Brew You 2020” collection.
This year’s sugarplum, described as “liquid Christmas”, is said to brim with notes of plum, nutmeg, sugar, spice and rim, and can be enjoyed in a variety of ways – hot or cold, black or white. Going into this blend are beans from Honduras, Guatemala and a Ugandan carbonic maceration. The most ideal way is to head along to Single O’s Surry Hills cafe and grab a tasting flight, where Sugarplum will feature alongside milk, espresso and cold filter coffee. It’s also available as a single cup via the filter taps or as espresso.
Sugarplum will also be available at Single O’s stall at the Carriageworks Farmers Markets from Saturday 21st November. Or by the 250g bag at all Single O venues from Friday 13th November, or via the online store.
