National Burger Day is this Thursday and to celebrate all things delicately stacked and impossibly cheesy, The Greengate Hotel is offering $12 for all their burgers and $8 pints of craft beer. Not only are they serving up their classic burgers, they’ve also announced three new additions to the menu.
This includes menu special, the “Big Cheesy”, a supersized not-for-the-faint-hearted beast stacked with juicy double angus beef patties, layered with crispy bacon, hash browns, cheese sauce, caramelised onion jam, and smoked BBQ sauce, encased with a soft milk bun and topped with fresh pickles.
If lamb is more your flavour, their Lamb Burghini consists of a lamb pattie with halloumi, zucchini, harissa yoghurt, and hummus. Chicken lovers will rejoice at their Southern Fried Chicken Burger featuring buttermilk fried chicken, swiss cheese, slaw, and pickled zucchini, with a spicy hit of sriracha aioli.
All of the kitchen’s greatest burger hits include such their classic Angus Beef Burger, Chicken Schnitty Burger, Steak Sandwich and the Shroom Burger which is a great a veggie option containing an onion ring, feta, beetroot, spinach, coriander & jalapeño pesto.
