Havaianas have teamed up with awarded artisanal gelato maker Gelatissimo for a little beach-side pop-up this January, inspiring two new Brazilian flavours to be offered for one month only across Australian Gelatissimo’s stores, including a tasting session Bondi Beach this weekend.
Both creations are available from today, and are aimed at capturing the spirit and exotic tastes of Brazil. The first, Pineapple Carnival, will bring a zesty caramelised pineapple flavour and the second, Rio de Brigadeiro focuses on a choc caramel taste with a creamy texture.
A taste-testing cart will be set-up at Bondi Beach on Saturday 9th January from 1pm to 3pm, where beach-goers can test out the new limited edition flavours.
Havaianas are running a competition alongside the creations, where the public can snap and share their gelato on social media using the hashtag #FlavoursofSummer or vote for their favourite flavour online to be in the running to win a years worth of Gelatissimo gelato and Havaianas styles.
