When a partnership between serial purveyors of cereal Kellogg’s announced that they were teaming up with Gelato Messina for a limited edition flavour we had some pretty good guesses as to what this could result in. We were hoping for something to do with Aussie childhood fav Coco Pops, and it seems Messina had the same idea, leading to the creation of a limited edition Just Like a Milkshake flavour that will be available across Messina stores (even the one in Las Vegas) from tomorrow, Wednesday 16th March.
The flavour will be available for one week only as Messina offer up the ultimate combo of chocolate milkshake gelato with chocolate cereal milk gelato and crunchy Coco Pop clusters.
“We all have such a deeply nostalgic love of Coco Pops, and of course all the slogans! Playing around with the base flavour of Coco Pops cereal milk gelato and adding the clusters has resulted in something very tasty. We’re happy with the result, but as always, the ultimate test is always once it’s in store,” said Gelato Messina’s Declan Lee.
All 12 stores across Sydney, Melbourne, Coolangatta, and Las Vegas will be offering up this limited edition flavour, which celebrates 55 years of the cereal, which has recently been updated with a fresh new look for supermarket shelves.
