The GPO Grand have brought back their pop-up dessert bar ahead of the holidays, setting up right by Martin Place’s enormous Christmas tree to offer exclusive outdoor seating and a huge range of festive desserts. Under those Bulgari Christmas LED lights Sydneysiders will find the likes of Nutella donuts, loacker gelato, chocolate ricotta cannoli, salted caramel popcorn, chocolate truffle baby cakes, hotdogs and more.
GPO Dessert Bar will be open each day until the 30th December (yep, even on Christmas Day) until late, pushing into one of the CBD’s busiest precincts with their biggest display of Christmas treats yet. But since it’s best to stock up on at least some savoury beforehand, folks are encouraged to grab a bite nearby from the GPO Grand, a collection of 14 awarded restaurants that span sushi and seafood to pizza, burgers and tapas.
Opening hours for the dessert bar are Mon-Thurs 8am-10pm; Fri 8am-11pm; Sat 9am-11pm; and Sun 10am-10pm.
