Lennox Hastie is bringing Firedoor to Melbourne for one night only

Lennox Hastie will be traveling down to Melbourne next week, bringing the city its very first taste of celebrated Surry Hills restaurant Firedoor. The occasion: Hastie’s former protégé, 22 year old chef Charlie Carrington, recently opened his very own restaurant in South Yarra, a globe-trotting conceptual dining experience called Atlas Dining.

Hastie will join Carrington on Monday 24th October as they fire up those wood coals and bring guests some of Firedoor’s most popular dishes, including the essential Rangers Valley Black Market 200+ day dry aged rib on the bone, which will be making its journey down from Sydney along with the acclaimed chef. Other dishes will include seasonal produce all cooked over wood coals, a method that is championed at Firedoor and a big reason for all those delicious, bold flavours which has seen the restaurant pick up a coveted chef’s hat from SMH’s Good Food Guide.

Firedoor x Atlas Dining

When: Monday 24th October from 6pm
Cost: $175 for five courses + matched wines
