QT hotels around Australia are putting the focus on throuples this Valentine’s Day

In modern dating culture, anyone would be lucky enough to even have one valentine to spend February 14 with. Got two? Count your blessings, because QT Hotels & Resorts are doing something rather unique to celebrate Valentine’s Day this year and it involves you, plus two.

Instead of encouraging couples to come in for an intimate dinner at one of their award-winning restaurants like QT Sydney’s Gowings and QT Perth’s Santini Bar & Grill, the luxury-boutique hotel group is putting up what they are calling Aphrodisiac Hour.

And it’s not your typical happy hour.

When a group of three book in for dinner on Valentine’s Day at one of QT’s signature restaurants, they’ll get a bunch of freebies with their meal. Including a half-dozen oysters and three mini martinis.

One lucky trio dining on the night will also be invited to stay overnight at the respective hotel. And the room for the lucky trouple will be kitted out accordingly, with extra pillows, robes and amenities so there’s no one left feeling like a third wheel on Valentine’s Day.

Do note that it seems the deal is slightly different depending on what restaurant you dine at. The half-dozen oysters and three mini martinis applies for bookings at Gowings (QT Sydney), Pascale (QT Melbourne), Capitol Grill (QT Canberra), Jana Restaurant (QT Newcastle) and Santini Grill (QT Perth).

Meanwhile, if any trouples are heading along to Yamagen at QT Gold Coast, then the Valentine’s Day bonus is an oyster experience with a half-dozen oysters.

QT Bondi doesn’t have a restaurant so the property has partnered with North Bondi Fish for the day, where tables of three will go in the running for a free overnight stay at QT Bondi on the evening of Valentine’s Day.
