Whatever happens when you mash a music festival with an interactive obstacle course is exactly what’s going to go down at Collingwood Art Precinct on Saturday 3rd March, as Nike Australia invite locals and visitors to The House of Go. For one weekend only, Nike will be taking over the precinct with what they’re describing as a sensorial celebration of Nike’s latest running innovation, the Nike Epic React.
Anyone heading along can expect a fun-house of sorts that will be encouraging participants to bounce, see, touch, feel and run their way through. Whether it’s bouncing through a treadmill run in a pair of Nike Epic Reacts or squishing through a foam room, it seems like Nike Australia have put a lot into this one, shaped as 30 minutes of “total exhilaration” that’ll be enhanced by light installations and artworks by Reko Rennie.
After the obstacle course, participants will be able to inhale ice cream and keep their feet moving the sounds of a resident DJ. Lockers will be provided so the course doesn’t devour any personal belongings.
