Ooh la la! A Fromage a Trois! Melbourne’s foremost cheese and cider festival is back for 2016

Cheese, drinks and you. The perfect trio, non?  For lovers of cheese, cider, wine or beer, you’re in for a treat, with the return of the Fromage a Trois, on Sunday 6 March 2016. Back for the third year, the Fromage a Trois  festival will be held on the grounds of the historic Werribee Park Mansion, a mere 30 minutes from Melbourne’s CBD.

This year’s festival includes over 60 exhibitors, as well as some of the nation’s biggest names in food.  Chefs from across Australia will be exhibiting ways of using cheese and cider into your meals in your day-to-day cooking, and visitors will be able to access some of the finest produce in the country, meet the makers and producers and generally make a full weekend out of this no-holds-barred full sensory experience.

Chefs scheduled to take part in the festival include Ben D’Arcy (Shadowfax Winery), Matija Sefancic (The Park Hotel), Ashly Hicks (Circa), and more.

Featuring at the event: the opportunity to try a range of Australian and International cuisine, including cheese platters, raclette’s and pizza, plus crisp ciders, award-winning wines and a variety of delicious cheeses.

In terms of drinks, there will be ales, ciders and beer, so guests are able to choose from the array around them and build their own picnic spread.

Tickets are $35 per person, available via Ticketmaster at www.ticketmaster.com. Entry is free for children 12 years of age and under.
