It’s almost that time of year again when Carriageworks transforms into a gigantic runway for the top Australian and international fashion designers, to showcase their 2017/18 resort collection. Sydney will become a hub of all things glitz and glamour, with industry leading designers, editors, buyers, and enthusiasts gathering to celebrate the art of fashion design.
From 14-19 May, Ovolo Woolloomooloo will become fashion headquarters, following the boutique hotel brand’s partnership with Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia (MBFWA). COO of Ovolo Hotels Australia Dave Baswal has hinted that Ovolo will be the “omg-I-didn’t-think-that-was-possible event venue” during MBFWA. The bay-side property will host a range of exclusive activities including live-stream broadcasting from the runway at Carriageworks, fashion inspired drinking and dining menus, after-parties, model castings and photo shoots!
