Award-winning chef Robin Wickens will take the culinary prowess that made him so popular at the Royal Mail Hotel in Dunkeld and showcase them at Eureka 89 in Melbourne, where he will prepare a sumptuous 5-course dinner of locally sourced produce.
The dinner, to be held on Monday 11th and Tuesday 12th April, will give Melbournians a rare chance to experience Wickens’ expertise in creating feasts with organic heirloom vegetables, herbs, edible flowers, fruit and nuts straight from the Dunkeld kitchen garden, the largest working restaurant kitchen garden in Australia.
Wickens will work with Eureka 89 Executive Chef Renee Martillano, where they will use produce from the Grampian region, including the property’s own Dunkeld born and bred beef and lamb.
It will be a great opportunity for the Royal Mail Hotel, known for its locally focused menu and location in the Grampians National Park, to partner with Southbank-based Eureka 89, set at an amazing 300 metres above sea level. The one-of-a-kind event will also showcase the Royal Mail Hotel’s comprehensive wine collection.
Spanning two nights, the dinners will be held on Monday 11th April 2016 and Tuesday 12th April 2016 from 6.30pm to 10.30pm. The cost is $170 per person fully inclusive, or $1600 per table of 10.
Tickets can be purchased by visiting www.royalmail.com.au.
