Current NBA MVP and Oklahoma City Thunder Point Guard Russell Westbrook has hooked up with high-end global travel and lifestyle brand Tumi to craft a special collaborative collection first released earlier this month to great success in the U.S. As travel season looms, Tumi have brought that collaboration over to Australia for travellers who like to keep fashion and travel well-mixed, presenting a functional and stylistic collection highlighted by a tonal red camouflage motif and black leather accents.
Westbrook, chosen by Tumi for his long-standing support of the brand and distinctive fashion sense in the sports world, worked hand in hand designing the collection with Tumi’s team, resulting in a six-piece collection of the brand’s high-performance ballistic nylon, spanning an International Carry-on, Double Expansion Travel Satchel, both the Morrison and Warren backpacks, Jetsetter Tote, Hanging Travel Kit, and the Westbrook Dangler. Each of these pieces also includes a personal detail from Westbrook, that being his mantra “Why Not?”.
