Saké Restaurant & Bar launches seductive new after-dark haunt Dragon Lounge (Sydney)

Hump days are ending on a seriously stylish level from here on in!  Wednesday nights at Saké Restaurant & Bar  in The Rocks now feature the Dragon Lounge, a sexy, sensual after-hours hangout in a hidden, upper level of the restaurant’s building on Argyle Street.

From 9pm every Wednesday, Dragon Lounge  offers a mid-week, upscale retreat for those who want to linger a little longer after dinner, ignore their mid-week bedtime and sip on champagne and cocktails in a Japanese-inspired hideaway featuring leather lounges, DJs, and entertainers.

Cocktails include the Green Tea Martini,  served in a tea pot for two, and the Zombie vs Dragon,  served in a small fish bowl for four people.  It wouldn’t be the Saké Restaurant & Bar without Saké and spirits available, as well as a pretty excellent collection of Japanese beers and wines by the bottle or glass.

A bar menu includes a range of cold and hot bites from the Saké menu, like the salmon sashimi filled baby tacos, wagyu beef tataki, shrimp tempura, gobo fries and scampi tempura.
