Bringing a taste of Bavaria to the South West Rocks, The Seabreeze Beach Hotel is planing on throwing one massive 11-day German festival, brought back for its fifth year following massive success in the past. Kicking off at 24th August and lasting until 3rd September, the stunning seaside hotspot will be celebrating all things readily associated with the German state, which means hearty winter dishes washed down with Bucket Brewery’s Bavarian-style Schwarz (black) beer, right along with live music and an atmosphere like no other.
The picturesque hotel has positioned itself as quite the destination in the past, and its usual happenings will be boosted during the festival with the kitchen planning a whole range of German goodness, including roast pork knuckle with sauerkraut and potato dumplings; pork belly with mash, green beans, beer and onion sauce; and a Bratwurst and Goulash dish.
Seabreeze Beach Hotel will be offering specialised accommodation packages as part of the event, allowing out-of-towners or staycationers to make a weekend of it while they look out over the Mid North Coast and enjoy being just a stone’s throw from the beach. One night’s accommodation in a balcony or ocean view room twin share will be priced at $150 (including two German Fest tickets) with the option to stay a second night for $100.
