Across the Carriageworks multi-art precinct this September, Sydney Contemporary will have a lineup of food and drink menus for the art-loving public to enjoy each day of the fair.
Kylie Kwong of Billy Kwong and Mike McEnearney of Kitchen by Mike have been announced as two of the pop-up restaurants to be featured amidst the grounds of paintings and sculptures represented from more than 80 leading international and Australian galleries.
Fair Director Barry Keldoulis said: “Kylie Kwong and Mike McEnearney are both passionate supporters of contemporary art and advocates of sustainable practices, and represent these passions in their food practices. We’re delighted to be working with them to provide an exciting menu for art-loving visitors to the Fair this year.”
As well as the Billy Kwong and Kitchen by Mike pop-ups, guests will also experience pop-up Glenfiddich and Petaluma bars to enjoy a drink as they enjoy the likes of Kylie’s steamed savory pancakes with fried egg, cucumber, pickled carrot, beansprouts and caramel-soy sauce from Billy Kwong or crispy pork belly and piccalilli relish from Kitchen by Mike.
