The ‘GoodnessMe Box’ Wholefood markets is set to return to the inner-city oasis that The Grounds of Alexandria is from next Tuesday 8th November. For $35 a ticket, visitors can enter the enchanted garden of The Grounds and wander through over thirty exclusive stalls offering the latest health food goodies, take part in cooking displays, and engage in talks with health-savvy speakers. After a record thirty-minute sell-out last year, this year’s markets have quadrupled in size and will span over two-jam packed days and nights.
The philosophy of GoodnessMe Box is about food with integrity and ditching the diets. So we can be assured that the GoodnessMe Box team will get us excited about embracing healthy lifestyles with their immersive Wholefood markets, aimed at showcasing this evolution of eating habits in an accessible, flavour focused way.
Creator and founder of the GoodnessMe Box event, Peta Shulman said, “The real heart and soul behind the event is about empowering visitors to take control of their health and be inspired to make better food choices.”
Visitors are promised empowering talks by this year’s guest speakers, including Luke Hines, Jessica Sepel, Melissa Ambrosini, Jacqueline Alwill – The Brown Paper Bag, Lyndi Cohen – The Nude Nutritionist, Leah Itsines, and a few more.
Lyndi Cohen, a.k.a. the Nude Nutritionist and ambassador for Jamie Oliver, is also looking forward to sharing her journey and passion for food. “I’m going to be doing a cooking demonstration at 3:00 p.m. on both days. I’ll be doing a healthy 20-minute meal and showing how to whip that all together,” she said.
“The key thing I want people to learn is that healthy eating doesn’t have to be fussy or complicated, or stressful. It’s about filling up on the good stuff. And the GoodnessMe Box Wholefoods line is a great place to fill up on all of them.”
This is the opportunity to ‘get inside the box’ and discover the popular brands that are paving the way in the Wholefoods movement, with natural, GMO and artificial-free, tasty products. “It is such a fun event, it’s a fun and easy way to find all these new products that are available, and a lot of people who are passionate about nutrition get exited together about really good healthy food,” Lyndi said. “There is organic wine tasting, all these great stalls, and plenty of cooking demonstrations.”
