Sydney’s legendary Mamak has opened in Seminyak (Bali)

Sydney’s beloved Award-winning Malaysian restaurant Mamak (known for it’s long queues and late opening hours) has opened their first international restaurant in Bali, bringing their bold traditional flavours to the island’s metropolitan Seminyak area. Located in the heart of Seminyak, Mamak Bali will showcase their beloved Malaysian Rotis, Curries and Satays to Bali locals and visitors with a strong commitment to consistency and local produce.

“The natural beauty and culture of Bali has always been a great attraction. Seminyak, in particular has a food scene that is very sophisticated and has really emerged as a culinary destination in itself. We love the area, and thought it would be an ideal spot to open our first overseas branch of Mamak”, said Director Julian Lee. “We think we will fill a gap in the market here, as no one is really offering authentic Malaysian food. Being in this part of the world gives us greater access to amazing Asian produce that can only enhance our flavours even further.

Mamak Bali, a breezy 70-seater, is licensed so holiday-goers will be able to have a cold beer with their signature curries and roti. With the full Mamak menu being brought across, diners will be able to discover all the beloved flavours of Mamak’s food
