The final 15 tables for the Noma Australia pop up are now up for auction (Sydney)

Sydney! This is your final chance to get into Rene Redzepi’s Noma Australia pop-up before the much-discussed residency comes to a close. In support of OzHarvest and Redzepi’s food-talk festival MAD, the final 15 tables to this highly sought after dining experience have now been put up for auction and will remain up until 8pm on Wednesday 23rd March.

The restaurant’s final fifty-six guests will receive the complete Noma Australia tasting menu plus a pre-dinner aperitif and the option of either the alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage pairing. Tables will be auctioned off as whole tables only, with two, four, six, and eight seated tables available. The starting price for a table of two is set at $1,500.

The online auction began this past weekend, looking towards the pop-ups final service with a special night for guests.

“It is also an opportunity for us to give back in a small way, a chance to raise money and recognise the work being done by our friends at OzHarvest and MAD, and to celebrate the welcome we’ve received and the new friendships that we have made throughout our Australian adventure,” said Redzepi.

“OzHarvest has been supported by top chefs in Australia since we began. It is a true honour for our organisation to be recognized by René Redzepi and to be chosen as one of the supported causes! We’re proud that our values are completely in alignment with noma and MAD. Those funds donated to OzHarvest will allow us to deliver more meals to more people in need, save food from landfill and provide nutrition education to vulnerable people,” offered OzHarvest founder Ronni Khan in a press release today.

Just recently OzHarvest raised over $1.5M with their annual CEO Cookoff, breaking previous records and furthering their vision. This Noma Australia contribution will build upon that in a big way, giving the public another shot at a pop-up which initially sold-out within seconds of bookings being made available.

At the completion of the auction, successful bidders will be contacted by Noma Australia to confirm their winning bid, booking time and discuss any dietary requirements.
