Originally from the Blue Mountains, the boys from Hermitude headed off to perform at Lollapalooza last year. Along the way, Luke Dubber took some happy snaps for the band, who share their experiences here:
Still sleep deprived and somewhat delirious, we arrived in Chicago. Driving to the festival downtown we drove past Daley Plaza, which we instantly recognised from one of our favourite films The Blues Brothers. The sheer enormity of Lolla was evident as we got shuttled through the site to our stage which took 15 minutes in a buggy!
A few interviews later and a crispy ale to cool us down, we were onstage playing one of our biggest shows to date in the USA. It was an unforgettable experience and as the sun was setting over Chi town we we’re on our way to the airport to our next gig.
