New York emcee Action Bronson is just as deft in the kitchen as the studio, and he has been taking that knowledge of the culinary world and applying it to his latest web show with Munchies, “Fuck, That’s Delicious” for a few episodes now. The latest entry takes the effervescent rapper to meet one of the most legendary French chefs in New York, Daniel Boulud to sample the famed canard á la presse (pressed duck).
Serving as both an entertaining just-under-15-minutes video and a rustic look into the kitchen with one of the most respected chefs in the city, the episode has Bronson chopping it up with Boulud over said duck, but not before helping the Chef prepare the whole thing.
The dish takes about five days to prep, and is served tableside in a silver “duck press”. After it’s on the table, the sauce is made using juices from the duck whisked together with wine, Cognac, and some other ingredients. Watch as Action and Boulud down the duck with a 1983 Guigal Cote Rotie, during which Bronson tries to take his dining companion through writing a rap album.
