Luxury hotel The Langham, Sydney has set an official re-opening date for their ritzy CBD property. As travel restrictions begin to ease, and more people are looking for that essential post-lockdown staycation. The Langham will begin greeting guests from 1st July, and they’ve put together a few packages to up the temptation.
The “Staycation Packages” should help ease guests into the Langham’s considerable lap of luxury with substantial savings on usual rates. This includes the “Jubilation Package” starting at $568 per night which, amongst other features, includes one night at a Deluxe City King (with a complimentary upgrade if available), in-room breakfast for two on the outdoor terrace or a dining table, access to the hotel’s highly touted indoor swimming pool and day spa, Wi-Fi, parking and 24 hour check-in/check out.
If you’re looking for a few extras like Laurent Perrier champagne and dinner for two then the (from) $748 “Couples Reconnection” package is the way to go, or the (from) $998 “Revival Remedy” package with a spa treatment and bar credit thrown in for good measure.
Most notably, anyone who books into one of the above packages will have a shot at winning the extremely enviable prize of a one-night stay in The Langham’s apex Observatory Suite as well as 10 additional suites to accommodate up to 20 friends, for free. There’s also a bunch of extras thrown on top, like complimentary use of the day spa and a 60-minute relaxation massage per guest, a private a la carte dinner for all guests, a personal stylist, a la carte breakfast for all guests, complimentary cocktails and canapes at Observatory Bar, complimentary mini bar and car parking, and more.
Though you’ll also need to be nifty with your writing to be in with a proper shot. In addition to booking one of the above packages between 1st July and 13th December (one booking = one entry) you’ll also be asked, upon check-out, to jot down a maximum of 500 words detailing why you’re “#LovingLangham” or why you should win.
The winner of the ridiculously luxe staycation will be announced on Thursday 17th December 2020. Redemption of the prize will be at the winner’s discretion (but subject to hotel availability) and remain valid for 12 months. Some black-out dates will apply.
