Popular Greek fast food chain Zeus Street Greek is officially moving into Northpoint in North Sydney as of today, and is celebrating by giving away free pitas. Over the years, the rapidly expanding brand has proven to be one of the more reliable fast-casual options in Sydney, featuring a sizable menu full of modern twists on traditional Greek making use of local ingredients.
Options like the Aegean Schnitzel with Zeus aioli and the vegetarian pita, Stavros Stavrou, with haloumi, tzatziki and signature Aegean slaw have proven popular with regulars, as has their excellent seasoned fries and just regular ol’ thick and delicious slabs of haloumi.
Free pita options today from 12pm to 2pm include the Uncle Tzimmy chicken pita and the Zeus, the latter featuring lamb seasoned with Zeus’ signature herb blend made-to-order on the spit over hot coals. I Love Free Pita Day is part of Zeus Street Greek’s Give Take philosophy to support the local community it is part of. Zeus will donate $2 from each pita given away to charity partner R U OK?.
The move also comes as Zeus plan to add a few new items to their menus at all stores (across NSW, VIC and QLD) from May 30th, a switch up that includes a slow cooked beef brisket option with harissa aioli, quinoa tabouli, chips, onion and tomato; a loaded version of their signature Yia Yia’s chips, with beef brisket, feta, smoky yoghurt, harissa aioli and fresh chilli; and panko crumbed haloumi mac and cheese balls with harissa dip.
