The Bentley Group is opening an Australian inspired pizza joint

With four acclaimed restaurants in their pocket such as Bentley Restaurant + Bar, Monopole, Yellow and Cirrus, the Bentley Group have announced they are opening Ria Pizza + Wine. Whilst Monopole relocates to Sydney’s CBD, Australia square in October, the new casual pizza joint will be taking up residence in it’s previous dining space with a fresh new look.

“Nick and I both love pizza and we have always joked about starting our own pizza place. When we decided to relocate Monopole to the CBD, we thought it would be a perfect opportunity to launch the concept in Potts Point” explains co-owner and chef Brent Savage.

Heroing their signature sourdough pizza bases and paying homage to Australian ingredients, the pizzas will reflect classic Aussie flavours with a selection of of snacks and small dishes. All ingredients will be sourced from local growers and suppliers, whilst wine will be supplied from Hildebrandt’s favourite producers.

Ria Pizza + Wine will open in early November with 50-seats and take away available.

Before Monopole closes in late September, the restaurant are bringing back their classic dishes from the past 8 years. The menu will includes dishes such as duck with cherry wood oil and beetroot and beef pastrami, goats curd, pickles and rye.
