A What We Do In The Shadows sequel has been confirmed; the title revealed

Ever since his vampire mockumentary film left a crater of both critical and popular acclaim in its wake, rumours have been circling director Taika Waititi and the possibility of a sequel to What We Do In The Shadows.

Those possibilities look to have come to fruition this week with Waititi confirming the sequel (and its title) in an interview with Crave Online.

He didn’t give any plot or casting details but We’re Wolves is expected to follow the group of werewolves encountered by the Wellington-based vampire clan of the first film. However, he did confirm that Jermaine Clement (Flight of the Concords) is working on the script with him.

Waititi is currently tied up working Marvel Studios’ Thor: Ragnarok, so We’re Wolves isn’t expected to go into production for a while yet, but it’s thrilling to know more of his quirky supernatural comedy is on the way.
