Alliance Française Classic Film Festival to return nationwide in August

Relive the “golden” age of French cinema on the big screen as the annual Alliance Française Classic Film Festival returns for its first nationwide debut in August, following the festival’s extremely successful debut in Sydney last year.

This year’s theme of the festival is “Les Blondes”, celebrating the light haired beauties of French film from 1952 to 1974. Five films will showcase iconic blonde bombshells such as Academy Award winner Simone Signoret, Brigitte Bardot, Catherine Deneuve, Jean Seberg and Romy Schneider, all considered legendary figures of French film culture.
