The first look trailer for the first feature film about Grammy award winning band Arcade Fire has just been released and it’s so short it will leave you wanting more. The Reflektor Tapes provides an insight into the making of the band’s critically acclaimed 2013 album Reflektor, documenting their creative journey.
Directed by 2013 Sundance Film Festival award winner Kahlil Joseph, the band felt “There were parts of the Reflektor tour where I think we, Arcade Fire, came the closest in our careers to putting on stage what we imagined in our heads. We were insanely lucky to have Kahlil Joseph documenting from the very beginning.”
Viewers are set to relive stunning concerts in true cinema high definition and surround sound. The band get personal with unprecedented access to footage, interviews, documentation and the recording process. To accompany the film announcement, Arcade Fire have released the new music video for track Porno.
