The first teaser to Disney’s Beauty and the Beast has landed. Disney has opted with something in much the same vein as The Jungle Book and Maleficent when it comes to retelling this classic as a live-action feature.

In this very small teaser – breathtaking yet understated – we can make out a few things. Emma Watson is playing the lead role of Belle and the voices of Lumiere (Ewan McGregor) and Cod (Sir Ian McKellan) are revealed.
Although you can slightly make out Beast, his voice is left unheard.
Alongside McGregor and McKellan, Dan Stevens is playing the Beast, Luke Evans is Gaston, Josh Gad plays Le Fou and Emma Thompson will take on the role Mrs Potts.
Beauty and the Beast is scheduled for release March 2017.
