Well you could see it coming a mile off. Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar has derailed any chances Gone Girl and Fury had of sticking in at number 1. The ambitious blockbuster raked in $4 million in its opening week here. It reportedly failed to match what Warner Bros anticipated but it definitely isn’t small pickings for Nolan’s space opera.

In other news, Gone Girl will not give up, taking second spot again and knocking Fury back down to third. Its a wonderful story, Gone Girl continually doing good numbers and managing to stay in the top 3.

Last weeks newest films are sticking around. John Wick made over half a million while Pride and The Best of Me have their own little battle going on further down the list.

Documentary and 3d exclusive The Vatican Museums maintains a position in the top 10 making just over $150,000 and the constant stream of Bollywood films finally make their mark with Chaar Sahibzaade falling just short of that.
