This week we’re seeing the appearances of several films that opened this week, pushing old favourites like The Theory Of Everything and American Sniper officially out of the top ten.
Topping the charts was the latest instalment of The Divergent Series, Insurgent, grossing $4.1 million. This dystopic action film is sure to please any thrill seekers, and we predict that it’s going to be in the top ten for a long while to come.
Following close behind with $2.8 million is Dreamworks Home, the enchanting and adorable new animated film from the team. Will Smith’s Focus which still seems to be captivating many across the nation. And of course it wouldn’t be a top ten without the presence of The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, which shows no sign of slowing down any time soon.
