Straight from the set of Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, and from its pop-up at SXSW, the fictional fast food restaurant Los Pollos Hermanos is opening its doors in Sydney for two days only – and owner Gus Fring (played by Giancarlo Esposito) will be on hand to celebrate.
The pop-up Los Pollos Hermanos will be taking place at Thirsty Bird in Sydney on Tuesday April 11 and Wednesday April 12 and will be serving some seriously good chicken during a 11.30am-3.00pm lunch session and a 5.00pm-8.30pm dinner.
We were on hand at the SXSW pop-up (pictured above) – which also saw Saul appear – and can attest to just how much fun it was to be engrossed in the world of the much loved TV series. They also had curly fries.
As it was in Texas, the pop-up is celebrating the premiere of the third season of Better Call Saul – which will screen in Australia on the same day as the U.S. on SVOD service Stan.
Fans have been encouraged to break out their best Better Call Saul inspired outfit to score merchandise and prizes that will be on offer, plus they’ll have the opportunity to be part of an exclusive meet and greet with Giancarlo Esposito aka “Gus Fring”.
More details available via the Stan Facebook Event Page.
The third season of Better Call Saul premieres April 11, same day as the U.S. only on Stan, with new episodes coming out each week.
