I think all self-professed 80s and 90s kids are rejoicing right now. First, we got Jurassic World. In December, we can feast our eyes on the new Star Wars film. And as if this year couldn’t get any better, there is word now that Space Jam 2 could be in the works.
So what has sparked these rumours? On Wednesday, LeBron James announced that his production company and Warner Bros. Entertainment have reached an agreement on a film, TV, and digital partnership. It sounds eerily similar to Michael Jordan’s role in the 1996 classic Space Jam.
Still not convinced? Have a look at this tweet from Capital New York editor, Alex Weprin, which highlights that Warner Bros. recently filed new Space Jam trademarks!

This is by no means the first time this rumour has come about, but we’re crossing our fingers that there’s some truth behind this bad boy.
