Hot off the heels of the success of Star Wars: The Force Awakens (and long after the dust has settled around the critically-reviled Kingdom of the Crystal Skull), Disney have confirmed that a fifth Indiana Jones film is in the works with Harrison Ford set to reprise his role as the titular archaeologist.
Steven Spielberg is set to return as the film’s director.
No word yet on any other returning cast but given Disney’s reluctance to involve George Lucas in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, I wouldn’t hold out hope for seeing him attached to this.
The film is slated for release on July 19, 2019.
