Disney’s D23 Expo: Orlando Bloom confirmed to return for the fifth Pirates of the Carribean film

Though the Australian tabloids pretty much ruined this surprise announcement earlier in the year, when Orlando Bloom was spotted in and around Gold Coast where they were filming the fifth Pirates of the Caribbean film, Dead Man Tell No Tales, Disney confirmed at their D23 Expo today that yes – Will Turner is back.

IGN reported that Depp also appeared at the D23 event for the film, dressed as Captain Jack Sparrow, “and threw grapes into the crowd as a drunk pirate does”. We’d expect no less.

Filming wrapped on the Gold Coast last week, but Dead Men Tell No Tales won’t be released in Australia cinemas until 16th July 2017.
